Cobblestone Street Cowl Free Knitting Pattern

“Cobblestone Street” is a warm and cushy cowl styled with a flattering funnel shape and lots of texture too. Not only is it a quick and easy knit, it’s a knit you will want to make and wear again and again. Best of all it uses just one skein of Erika Knight Maxi Wool yarn.

Watch a 1 minute video about this free cowl knitting pattern below!

You will need:

Completed Cowl Measures: 30” width (collarbone) tapering to 26” width (neckline) - 6” tall.

Hello NobleKnitters! It's Donna and I'm the Knitting Doctor here at NobleKnits. I'm joining you today to share a free knitting pattern! It's done with Erika Knight Maxi Yarn. If you happened to watch our knitting review of this fiber, you'll happen to notice that I was swatching the shade that I'm wearing right now. This color is called Artisan. The more I knitted, the more I actually liked this yarn and my little swatch turned into this cowl.

One ball is going to yield you a cowl that will be 30 inches at the bottom and 26 inches at the top, so it tapers. It's a little bit of a modified funnel shape. We achieved this by using a size US 17 needle and then changing over to a size US 15 needle about midpoint. There's 15 rows to this pattern, so you are literally going to have this on and off your sticks in no time flat.

The Erika Knight fiber will give you a highly textured garment piece. You can see here, this is nothing more than a knit 2 (stitches), purl 2 (stitches), called the Roman Rib stitch. Again, this is a free pattern under the name of New Street Knitter, which I am.

There are wonderful shades of yarn to choose from, a little something for every wardrobe. So, I plan on making a couple for myself...because I think this winter is going to be cold! Ok, thanks so much. Thanks so much for joining me. If you like this video, give us a thumbs up, comment below, and subscribe to our YouTube channel.
