Nothing welcomes a new baby like a hand knitted garment! Baby socks are a quick and easy way to whip up something special for little ones often using up bits of scrap yarn from your stash.
In this post, I’ve rounded up some of the most adorable baby socks for newborns-toddlers that you’ll love to knit. These whimsical socks include strawberries, foxes, snowflakes, owls, bears, ducklings, and hearts. If you’re a fan of booties instead of socks, check out the cutest baby booties free knitting patterns.
Many of the socks are seamless, knitted in the round from the top-down and some feature self-patterns sock yarns.
I’ve also included several free knitting patterns in this collection - check out project #3, 4, and 5.
