This beginner stitch pattern is a 14-row repeat yet it's surprisingly easy!
It uses only knit and purl stitches. I'll take you step-by-step through this stitch pattern for knitting success.
The front side of this project is a combination of stockinette and garter stitch squares. The other side is a combination of reverse stockinette and garter stitch squares.
Use this stitch to create shawls, afghans, baby blankets, placemats, and washcloths.
